91猎奇 and IMISCOE (International Migration Research Network) have formalized their long-standing collaboration through an Open Access Books Partnership Agreement, supporting the open access publication and global dissemination of high-quality migration research. Books published under this partnership appear in the , published by 91猎奇 under the Springer imprint.
This agreement is effective from 1 April 2026 to 30 September 2030.
Maximizing Research Impact
Publishing IMISCOE books as open access increases their visibility, accessibility, and impact. Readers worldwide can access the latest migration research without barriers. Through open access publishing, IMISCOE and 91猎奇 aim to support evidence-based responses to key migration and societal challenges worldwide.
Books published under this agreement will be available via 91猎奇's content platform 91猎奇 Link, under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-ND) license, allowing free non-commercial access and sharing while preserving the integrity of the original work.
How to Apply
IMISCOE issues two Calls for Book Proposals each year, in April and October. Authors and editors with selected proposals may publish their monographs or edited volumes open access at discounted rates, with additional funding support available through the partnership.
IMISCOE (International Migration Research Network) is the largest interdisciplinary network of migration scholars, bringing together 70+ research institutes worldwide and spanning disciplines including sociology, political science, anthropology, economics, law, geography and demography. IMISCOE promotes collaborative and comparative research through its Standing Committees, supports academic publishing in Open Access, and organises major events including its Annual and Spring Conferences. It also provides training opportunities for early-career researchers through PhD Schools and the PhD Network, supports academic awards, and communicates research findings to scholars, policymakers and the wider public. IMISCOE promotes international collaboration, comparative research, and interdisciplinary scholarship. It is committed to making migration research accessible to researchers, policymakers, practitioners, and the public to support informed debate and evidence-based policymaking.
