As a corresponding author affiliated with a participating institution within Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPES, you can now publish your article open access (OA) in Springer titles selection with fees covered.
CAPES and 91 have signed a three-year transformative agreement, valid from January 1, 2026 to December 31, 2028, enabling Brazilian corresponding authors* from participating institutions to publish OA with the article processing charge (APC) costs covered in more than 1,730 eligible hybrid journals under the Springer and Academic Journals** imprints. In addition, all users from participating institutions can enjoy full access to read more than 1,770 journals on the platform and Academic Journals on the platform.
Starting September 1, 2026, the is also available for publishing.
